Membership of the UKVIA is solely for those companies which maintain the highest standards of age-aware retailing. Vaping products are only for adult smokers and vapers.
Our members have a Challenge 25 policy for in-store retail, thorough training for staff and robust safety processes for online sales. The UKVIA code of conduct ensures that no products are marketed in a way that targets people under the age of 18.
We’re proud that our tough stance is protecting the industry: in 2018 a report by ASH found that youth vaping is very rare in the UK and largely confined to those who also smoke cigarettes.
